Singing lessons in Bristol

Individual (1-2-1) lessons, unless requested otherwise

Price

Cost of lessons depend on location etc., but are never more than £35 for 50 minutes. Please give me a ring to arrange an introductory lesson for only £25 (for 50 minutes).

Location

I usually chat to potential pupils about whether they would prefer to have lessons in their own home, or at my studio in The Tobacco Factory.

Why take lessons?

Correct Vocal Technique

Learn to sing higher and louder more confidently. I can show you how to remove tension from your throat whilst retaining your expression and unique personality that make your voice unique.

Be yourself

I can help you express yourself through your voice. I have years as a teacher and singer of experience spanning an eclectic range of genres and styles (including hard rock, musical and classical!).

Are you 'tone deaf'?

No, you are not. Let me prove you, or anybody who tells you that you are tone deaf, wrong. I have busted the 'tone deafness' myth many times.

Can't sing, won't sing?

... please email me to let me know why you cannot sing, because I have never met a healthy person who is unable to sing. If you were already a perfect singer then you wouldn't need lessons! I am here for those who cannot sing.

Shy?

Too shy to sing in front of people? Are you too shy to sing anywhere but your shower? I can help build your confidence, without pushing you to perform.

Sore throat?

Does singing give you a nasty sore throat? I can show you how to free your voice, so that you can sing louder and for longer, without having to suck Strepsils! Nobody is stuck with the voice they grew up with, everybody has the power to improve their voice (even the best singers!).

Weak voice?

A weedy or croaky voice. If you would like know more about the possibility of making your voice sound strong and confident please get in touch.

Croaky voice?

Does your voice sound hoarse or croaky? I have extensive knowledge of the causes of croaky voice, however it is best for me to speak with you about your individual case. Please get in touch to see whether I could help you.
